Orange France is always ready for a new and cool for the iPhone 3G subscribers, namely Orange TV. From 7 April, if you are an Orange customer an Origami Star Plus plan of at least € 42, you see 20 TV channels of Orange TV offer – free, directly to your iPhone.
To access all 64 Orange TV channel, you must select TV Max (€ 9 per month). The TV connection via Orange 3G network, and said it may also have EDGE where 3G is not available. Orange says iPhone 3G is the battery to 3 hours watching TV
Probably the free Orange TV offer comes after the carrier lost iPhone exclusivity clause in France, and as a consequence, SFR and Bouygues Telecom may also sell the smartphone (they do it on April 8 and April 25, respectively). No word yet as Orange Orange TV offers free iPhone in other markets, except France.
