Samsung has just released a new rugged Android-powered smartphone, namely Samsung Galaxy Xcover. The robust handset is said to survive under extreme conditions or to withstand severe conditions. Samsung Galaxy Xcover is filled with protection against dust, falling and IP67 waterproof (up to 1 meter for 30 minutes).
Runs on Google Android 2.3 operating system, Galaxy Xcover has toughness phone 3.65 inch touch screen display with scratch-resistant tempered glass, a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash (and flashlight), Wi-Fi connectivity, 7, supports 2 Mbps HSDPA and GPS.

Released in October, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover rugged Android mobile phone market in Germany to come. There is no word on pricing at this time.
