Today, Alltel announced the upcoming release of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230, Natural Alltel’s Pearl Flip is a CDMA EV-DO device. The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 will start from Alltel in early May, for as low as $ 79.99 – with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $ 70 mail-in rebate.
It is a bit strange that Alltel announced the smartphone for Verizon, as rumors of large T Pearl Flip since February. Natural Alltel is now owned by Verizon (although it is still about 2.2 million customers), so it will probably not be long until the big red carrier starts BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230.
