Sony Ericsson has officially announced at the MWC 2011 (Barcelona, Spain), the PlayStation Phone, Sony Ericsson announced the Xperia Play. New smartphone game console is run from the side slider form factor and is the world’s first certified PlayStation phone.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is available in March 2011, and comes in two models – the first is support for GSM / GPRS / EDGE and UMTS / HSPA, while the second CDMA EV-DO network. It is available in white and black colors with major publishers in the gaming industry.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Smartphone is a 4-inch capacitive touch screen TFT display filled with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and supports multi-touch technology, 5.1 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 400MB internal memory, MicroSD card slot (a bundled 8GB card), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

New Xperia PLAY PlayStation Android phone runs on OS 2.3 and gingerbread has a 1 GHz CPU MSM8655 Qualcomm Snapdragon Adreno 205 graphics chip, 512 MB RAM. After manufacture, it can deliver 60fps playback 3D mobile gaming.
