ALongside HTC Flyer tablet, HTC Incredible S, and HTC Wildfire S smartphones, HTC introduces its the Desire S Android smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2011 (Barcelona, Spain). The new handset was a few days ago on the internet on the second name HTC Desire 2.

The HTC Desire S smartphone has a 3.7-inch capacitive touch screen brings Super-TFT screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, 768 MB RAM, 1.1 GB of onboard memory, microSD slot (up to 32GB), 5 – megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, image stabilization, and 720p HD video recording, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, Wi-Fi 802.11b, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and GPS. There are accelerometer, digital compass, light sensor, motion sensor and a 1450 mAh battery.

Desire S is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, 1GHz Snapdragon running OS 2.4 with HTC’s Android UI Sense.

The Desire S Smartphone for GSM / GPRS / EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS / HSPA 900/2100 MHz mobile network design. Dimensions of Desire HTC S 115 x 59.8 x 11.6 mm and weighs 130 grams with battery.

As with other HTC smartphone, HTC is the S-Desire Smartphone in Q2 2011th
