The original BlackBerry was a flare as an attempt by RIM device on the market that was thought, the Apple iPhone and Android are competing to produce models bring. And while the form factor was different for RIM, it combines a good area that a Canadian company (QWERTY keyboard) is not another area in which that company has fallen behind other manufacturers (touchscreen phones) have.
